My three motivations are:

  1. Improved outcomes and assessment scores – This is my primary motivator and the stimulus for digging into what/why I’ve been teaching my students.
  2. Renewed excitement about teaching and learning, and greater self-awareness – Once I’ve found my question and begun digging into the possible alternatives or improvements, I become excited for the next opportunity to test and observe the results of the changes implemented.
  3. Increased reflection on teaching and learning among colleagues – As results/feedback roll in, I now become excited to share/discuss with my colleagues.
