Find Your Fit
I reviewed ESL resources and found three valuable resources. I love MERLOT’s ESL videos, jokes and games in particular. OEDB lists ESL-friendly OER resources based on topics. It is easy to use and navigate. http://oedb.org/ilibrarian/50_essential_resources_for_esl_students/
Canadian Open Textbook is an excellent Canadian textbook on writing! This chapter is a good starting point for learning about sentences and paragraphs. It has an easy-to-follow approach to explaining paragraphs. The paragraph information is found in section 3.4. https://opentextbc.ca/writingforsuccess/chapter/chapter-3-putting-ideas-into-your-own-words-and-paragraphs/
5 minute English is another excellent resource for students to practice grammar as the explanations are short and sweet. http://www.5minuteenglish.com/grammar.htm
