Students are harmed by spoon feeding information, and “low lying fruit” is usually rotten. I’d rather a pomegranate any day, where I wrestle the little seeds out from within, made all the sweeter for the effort. I vow to draw students out of their comfort zone, to invite them further into the concept. Along these lines, when designing this “nugget”, I initially clicked on Canva for layouts, and then decided that it would actually mean more to me (and perhaps convey more to others) if I came up with my own design.
