Though I hate the word nugget, I’m an avid reader and learn as much as I can from the wisdom of experience. As such, I learned something from a much older colleague before he retired. He taught me that the relationships you build at work are more important than the speed of the job you do, or even how well you do it.

This resonated with me and I try to pass it on to our students every year.
