I chose to use a digital slide software to engage students to be able to keep the students on track with lessons.  Students are able to work at their own pace and more importantly, students who require more time to learn the material will not feel left behind because they are able to access the software anytime they need to, take screen shots and make annotations for ask questions for clarification.  I believe using this software as the main technology to teach the course is effective and incorporating it into lab exercises and self assessments will promote interactivity, collaboration and engagement between students and student and instructors.
