Hello everyone

I chose to use Microsoft Teams for this module to address an issue with class time. Normally we would have debriefs after each clinical rotation which would be 1 week long. Even with a small class size, it was a rush to get through in a synchronous session together online or in person . A use of technology that is easy to use for a discussion board greatly can help moving forward. Teams allows access from almost any device with a quick learning curve. I am of the opinion that technology should be quick to learn as I don’t want students focusing on learning how to use it as opposed to the content itself. Once a team has been created, standards must be made and a goal for students to use it. We have 3 clinical weeks so each week can be its own channel to help facilitate discussions. Teams allows flexibility as well if anyone wants to upload files (including assignments)

Moving forward I am confident Teams is often a better way to communicate as a group than the LMS solutions as those are temporary. In the working world, knowledge of teams can also be an asset.
