I am attaching my Module Planning Web for Describing Positive and Negative Experiences (https://stuconestogacon-my.sharepoint.com/:w:/g/personal/ntrubochkina_conestogac_on_ca/ER3tBhjreipBhnMP1SflyewBgFYEZ_xdffPG691wkK7Y1Q?e=hZUPy2) Module for CLB 3/4 class. Also, please, see attached the worksheet that I would use to prepare students for a final speaking task: in a dialogue, speak about a trip you took to another city or place; be ready to answer questions related to the trip. This worksheet has been created using PDFescape and is based on some materials from the ESL Library. First students would listen to a conversation about a trip to New York City one of speakers took recently. Next, they will practice answering some common questions people usually ask about a trip, holiday, or weekend. Students will need to choose the best answer from the drop down menu. After that, students work in partners: they read another dialogue and fill in the blanks with their own answers. Later, the dialogue can be first read and then role-played.
If this module is taught remotely, this worksheet can be shared with students either before class as a part of flipped classroom or after class as homework.
