Learner Challenge Take 2 – Kahoot
I chose Kahoot as my technological tool to help with student engagement in my classes. Kahoot has been a great tool for me to use in my classes, because it allows students to access it on laptops, school computers, tablets and even their cellphones, which most students have. Kahoot allows me to see if my students are understanding/comprehending the material I am teaching and if they are not, it allows me to make adjustments to my teaching style to better assist the student.
The only challenge I have had with this tool is that not every student have heard of Kahoot before, especially when I have students from very young ages to those of an older age who are not very verse in technology. To overcome this challenge I always display an instruction screen walking students through a step by step process on how to access Kahoot.
