There are lots of resources around how to create a podcast, including some full OER that cover every aspect of the topic, for example: Tools for Podcasting. There are also lots of great YouTube videos on various aspects of the topic, and resources from the professor and the student perspective. Podcasting 101 is also a contender as it is a little more in-depth, but nicely organized and easy to work through. It also has some nice, student focused editing videos that might simplify the process for my learners, so I may incorporate some of these into my lesson(s).

My favourite and the one I find most appropriate for my course is the Liberated Learners – Podcasting chapter.

This chapter is student focused, specific enough to get across the main elements of the assignment, but is not so in-depth that it will overwhelm the reader. I will be providing this link as the main resource for my adapted research project assignment.
