Being a Science Teacher, one has to be creative, explain every concept in detail, and sometimes make students just memorize some concepts. One has to try various approaches for different individuals and check the efficiency of the approach as well. Some well-suited approaches need to be repeated again and again but some approaches need to be changed. 

Working like a scientist in teaching is not just teaching but also analyzing the elements of teaching.
