For this activity, I just to create a GIF of the nerve impulse travelling through the neuron. This is a concept we cover in my course, but it could also be embedded throughout the nervous system course content as a visual cue to note important concepts. The students need to be able to describe the nerve impulse and the anatomy of the neuron so I think this will be a helpful neuron. I created this from my phone and found it relatively easy to use.
