In our project risk management course, a key learning component is the ability to identify project risks.
Project risks can be both positive and negative. One assignment is to identify the risk of building a
school in a remote location. By using Google Maps, I can show then Iqaluit, the Capital of Nunavut here
in Canada

As most students have never ventured into the northern regions of Canada, these pictures and maps
provide them with an understanding of the environment they will be working in.

I could use this to teach my students about how laws are made in Canada – in Ottawa and how those impact both Provincial and Federal employment laws
