I found this to be a good tool for evaluating technology for incorporation into the learning experience.  The area that stood out most was the risk to student privacy and control of the information within the technology.  In my opinion, there may not often be an adequate risk assessment of the technology from a privacy and security lens before offering it as a recommended source external to the institution such as a web based technology (SAAS).
