Reflecting on the entire SoTL process was key.  It reminded about the importance of reflection as a tool to improve nearly anything — academic, work, or life related.  These activities helped open my eyes to various opportunities to improve my teaching practice, which ultimately benefits the students.  The SoTL process was and is worth it!
