Unfortunately access is restricted to the SoTL folder but I am happy for my Plan for SoTL to be added to the folder manually, or I can re-attempt when access is granted (I have requested through Google).

In the beginning, SoTL research seemed quite intimidating and overwhelming. I wasn’t sure where to begin until I started to see samples of just how “close to home” and “down to Earth” this research could be.

It was very encouraging to work through each step, step by step, conveying how SoTL research is broken down. I found that, as I started to work through the SoTL Planning Document, I was coming up with other ideas that I would like to look at in the future.

For the time being, I will stick with the SoTL plan that I have outlined. I will start next week by gathering some preliminary research on what the literature says about self-debrief vs group debrief. I have explore this previously however I have not looked at it in the context of HyFlex delivery and in terms of students’ ability to manage workload, accessibility, etc. Once this is complete, I will be ready to start working on my questionnaire and consent form.

When I have identified the findings of my SoTL project, I will disseminate this information to those in related fields or positions within the college using a short VideoScribe. This VideoScribe will become an Creative Commons Licensed Project – attribution, non-commercial, share-alike.
