I see myself as a tour guide – helping students navigate through my course. A tour guide will point out and explain certain things along the excursion as well as giving people a chance to explore on their own, while helping them avoid dangers. A tour guide also helps by answering questions. As a Professor, I point out and explain concepts and material in the course. I give students an opportunity to try new things to step outside their comfort zone. If I see students going down the wrong path with an assignment/project, I will help steer them back on track. And I am here to answer any questions that may arise.
