My teaching philosophy and my philosophy as a healthcare provider are the same: I am a tour guide on the journey through it. My responsibility is to share the knowledge I have about the subject. Everyone shows up with information and previous knowledge, so I share what I know and what I have to offer, and it is their responsibility to take what I have shared and make it their own. My shared knowledge becomes theirs, and they use it to expand what they already have. In turn, they can share their new-found knowledge with others.
