What’s In It For Me? Software Testing…
For this activity, I have considered the area of software testing (that I teach) from a student’s perspective:
By learning the material in this course / program, you as a student will be benefiting because you will be:
- finding bugs and defects in software without having to fix them 🙂
- working with leading edge technology that no one else has seen to date
- able to read and understand computer code
- making the end product or application better for the consumer / client
- able to become a better team-player / collaborator
- able to use automation tools to make your job more enjoyable

- working with version control systems to better organize your code
- developing your soft skills around reading, writing and verbal communications
- having a direct impact on the release of software
