WIIFM?
WIIFM (From the perspective of my HR graduate certificate students taking my Recruitment and Selection course)
- Learn skills to personally be better as a job candidate in all areas of recruitment and selection specifically being better at interviewing
- Learn about skills in a very common entry-level HR position (Recruiter) that many students may enter the field into
- Improve communication and listening skills
- Understand personal/professional bias
- Develop a portfolio of examples/assignments that could be transferable to their HR career and used in their personal job search/interviews
- Improve on time-management and administrative skills
- Build their HR network of contacts
