When we offer instruction on employability skills, students seem to need a value or credit (e.g. marks) before they are truly motivated to engage in some of the learning activities. For this WIIFM activity, I created an infographic using Canva to communicate the relevance of creating a career portfolio other than to get a grade. To motivate non-believers, I will invite a few graduates of the program via Zoom to offer testimonials of how they used their career portfolio.
