It is interesting to hear the different definitions and characteristics of SoTL. One thing that came to mind while listening to the video and reading other people’s responses is how our definition and the characteristics might be very different depending on your subject area.  For someone teaching math, different characteristics may stand out from someone teaching welding or early childhood education.
