For this activity, I to try Google Sites to display my information, as I’m considering this medium for an upcoming assignment. A large component of the Travel-Tourism program focuses on the ‘soft’ skills of customer service and entrepreneurship, with a smaller amount of focus on technical learning such as memorizing IATA designator codes of airports & airlines, understanding the components of airfares, and learning the commands necessary to ticket through a Global Distribution System (GDS). Since a travel agent can operate and even be successful without these technical skills, they are becoming increasingly rare. This is a benefit of taking the program that will help to set graduates apart from other applicants.
