I teach math and chemistry and many students are intimidated by the material and tackling assessments online. I wanted an image that I could use repeatedly so that whenever students saw this image, they would know where the weekly quiz was located. I did not want the image to add to their stress. Stories of pets and their antics is often a topic many students like to share, so I was looking for a photo of a pet with a computer which I hoped would be seen as fun or at least not stressful.

I searched all five sites looking for an image to accompany online quizzes or assignments. I liked the images in Unsplash and Pixabay best and searched “cat+computer”, “dog+computer” and found this fun photo illustrating studious work on a computer to represent a quiz that needs to be completed.
