This note-taking exercise was a solid reminder of the value of good note-taking. I think I would ace a quiz on this video! I’ve seen and taught the Cornell approach before. My experience has been that motivated students may try this approach to note-taking (or other approaches) and benefit, but struggling students will definitely see benefits. The challenge is to get those students to give it a chance.  (And at a meta level…I was taking notes on a video about the use of videos in education while extending my own education.)
