This was a very good activity.  I liked the structure from the template provided for GoogleDoc and saved it as a word.

I normally take all my notes in OneNote, and will actually set it up in Cornell notes style following this activity.

The normal way I take notes is to print the slides and add annotations along the right side of the page.  Going forward, I think I will try using Cornell notes style and then including the slides at the bottom.

For students, I think note-taking has dropped off.  Many students seem to be at a loss if they can’t record a lecture.  When I think of them, at home reviewing the transcript, I can’t imagine how they find the most relevant points.  There is value in actually spending some time with them and going through note-taking.

I took notes for an online lecture for a course I am taking.
