Cultivate your PLN
I have used several methods to expand my PLN:
- By being a member of HRPA’s Professional Association connects me with a network of professionals in HR industry.
2.By attending industry conferences, webinars, and local meetups have provided opportunities to network with professionals who share similar interests.
3.Co- Collaboration with professionals in my network on projects or initiatives has strengthened my relationships and expanded my knowledge.
4.Seeking mentors or offer your expertise to others as a mentor has opened doors to new connections.
5.Subscribing to industry newsletters and blogs can help you stay informed about the latest trends and news in your field.
6.I also utilize Collaboration Tools Slack or Microsoft Teams for work-related communication and networking within our organization.
7.Enrolling in online courses and webinars related to my field has included networking opportunities with instructors and fellow learners.
8.Attending workshops or seminars focused on professional development and networking.
9.Engage in Cross-Functional Teams: helped me build relationships with colleagues from various departments.
10. Offering my assistance, insights, and support to others in your network. Being a resource to others lead to reciprocal support and valuable connections.
11.Being Consistent: Consistency is key in networking. Regularly engaging with my network, sharing updates, and staying active in discussion
