I had the pleasure of meeting a former student in a casual social situation this weekend. Speaking candidly about their experiences in class allowed me to reflect on a lot of pain points and gain points within my classroom. I think it may be worth repeating this activity with students when it is low-risk (they have graduated or moved on), to help get really genuine feedback.
