I watched the Ted Ex on “40 seconds of compassion can heal”. He discusses his personal experience as an ICU physician in general but also in the context of analyzing the victims of a tragic bus crash and how they remembered their care at five years after. Most focused on their rememberance of a lack of compassion from their caregivers rather than remembering the crash for the actual medical care. He took that information to analysis by a variety of studies and research.
