I have uploaded a file with images of the Padlet Curation Creation and my additional comments on how I plan to use the resource. I have also included screenshots of my responses to a couple other curators on the Padlet. Here is the Documentation Tool on H5P that I used to complete the CRAAP Test:

Currency: The timeliness of the information:   When was the resource published or posted? Has the resource been revised or updated? Does your topic require current information? Are the links functional? 

The date of creation was 10/31/2021. The information is current and relevant with links that have dates from 2013 – 2022 so it would appear the content is current and possibly has been updated with the 2022 source. All of the links are functional.  

Relevance: The importance of the information for your needs   Does the resource relate to your needs? Who is the intended audience? Is the information in the resource at an appropriate level for your learners? 

The resource is a relevant resource to introduce my adult earners to the topic and to permit those who want or need more information to delve deeper. This makes is appropriate for a variety of levels of learners.  The resource indicates it was created for middle and high school learners, however as I read through it I would rate it as appropriate for any adult learner who is new to the topic.  

Authority: The source of the information   Who is the creator? What are their credentials or organizational affiliations? Are they qualified to write on this topic? 

The creator is Author: Yasmeen Merriweather There are no credentials or affiliations mentioned so it is difficult to assess if they are qualified to write on the topic. However, the OER Commons  

Accuracy: The reliability and truthfulness of the information   Is the information supported by evidence? Has the resource been reviewed or refereed? Are there spelling, grammar, or typographical errors? 

The information is accurate and is supported by several external links to back up and support the information presented. The resources found on the hub have been vetted and reviewed by ISKME’s digital librarian staff. ISKME, is the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education, that created OER Commons as part of their worldwide OER initiative. 

Purpose: The reason the information exists   Why does this resource exist? (to inform, teach, sell, entertain, or persuade?) Is the information fact, opinion, or propaganda? Are there political, ideological, cultural, religious, institutional, or personal biases? 

ISKME, is the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education, that created OER Commons as part of their worldwide OER initiative. The information is factual and educational. ISKME’s OER  strives towards a sustainable culture of sharing and continuous improvement among educators at all levels. It is a digital public library and collaboration platform, informed by their efforts in knowledge management and educational innovation.

This is a factual piece with links to additional OER for a deeper look at the topic. It is interactive in the sense that the reader can choose to open (and save) the additional links.  

Final Recommendation: Will you use this resource? Why or why not? 

I will use this resource. I like that it the reader has the option to read more or less depending on their need and interest in the topic. I also like that all of the information is relevant, and current and that all of the links are working.
