Reflection: At first I thought it just makes things more time consuming, and tedious, but after actually trying it our for myself, it helped me organize my thoughts and help digest the topic in parts.  It is like taking notes took me in a process of learning itself. It allowed me understand the topic from a to long term memory.

Application: I can see this really be helpful when listening to a conference. As an instructor, I can use this when I invite a guest speaker to class, where I can share the notes to my students to help them better understand the topic.
