The challenge that always seems to be present with any type of teaching and learning is keeping the learner engaged with the content. For online classes this seems to be extremely difficult and nearly impossible for some students to report they were truly engaged. Although I use various types of technology there are always challenges and it often engages them with the tech but not the topic/content.
