Like driving a car – Culinary arts
In culinary arts, no matter what you are cooking it’s all about having a “good mise en place”. Having a good mise en place involves setting up your station before you begin your work. Once you have mastered this skill, it will become second nature “like driving a car”.
This skill is the first step, when you walk into a kitchen, it is used often and every time you begin your work, it is transferable, it can be adaptable, and absolutely necessary.
