I teach Career Management to international students. The students usually have no employment experience in Canada. Students with an employment history from outside Canada do not know how to market themselves in the Canadian job market. The challenge for them is to unlearn and relearn job search techniques to meet local job market expectations until its second nature to them, like driving a car.
