Please see my top 3 motivations in the attached image. I borrowed from Elan Paulson’s motivation:

1. Ensuring that practices aren’t grounded in opinions (e.g., “It worked for me”) or fads, which are sometimes superficial or oversimplify complex concepts and processes

I believe that sometimes our actions in the classroom are not grounded in evidence based practice and may be done for other reasons. For instance, maybe we are trying a new technology tool for the sake of integrating technology and not based on our core purpose.
