I picked a project from my past that was very rewarding.  I brought together a diverse team to implement process improvements and digitalization in this project.  I led the team, and each member had a different skill set, including a different background in the organization, from finance to materials to lean. The team had very different perspectives than me and this allowed us to have very good discussions and build on our ideas.

Our mode of communication included both structured and unstructured communication.  We would scrum daily, discussing what we were each working on and had finished, where we could use help from each other and what we planned to accomplish that day.  In addition, we frequently met throughout the day digitally through teams.  This worked very well, but there were times when the team was working on something bigger and it made sense to collocate for a period of time.  I would add that to any future collaboration.

I chose an image with a variety of tables.  The table in the corner looked like a safe place for an open discussion, so I put the team around that table.  The scrum was a quick meeting and I would picture that at the bar stools, or standing around a small table.  When working with a larger group, and facilitating their projects, the team should be pictured around the table in the bottom right which is a much larger banquette.

I used Pixabay to find the image, and Canva to edit, both using the free versions.
