This past year with teaching in the on-line environment has certainly brought up new challenges.  I always thought I would enjoy online teaching because I enjoyed distance/online learning as a student.  Besides, I thought I could teach from anywhere – like on the beach in Hawaii….  Unfortunately, the reality did not meet my expectations.  Turns out I enjoy the interaction with the students in the classroom.  I miss it.
