My metaphor of teaching
This image to me really represents teaching for many reasons. First of all, I feel the classroom isn’t the only place where learning takes place especially these days as this pandemic drags on and on. When I teach, I’m the first to take the students outdoors for learning opportunities as we have learnt so much in our lives outside of a classroom. Learning goes on everywhere, and the classroom is quite good for a safe and structured place to learn but the routine of sometimes stifles learning too. I like sailing, and didn’t learn a thing in the classroom about sailing and instead used the internet and learned it by doing. I like this photo ….
