The challenge I chose was my learner’s not taking the time to read through directions, expectations and deadlines for assignments, as this is the main cause for unsuccessful learners in my courses. I chose to address this by creating brief video instructions that review the key points, deadlines and where in our LMS to find what they need to complete the assignment.

I will record videos using my school zoom account and embed videos into our LMS as YouTube links and MP4s if requested. Our school also has it’s own “media site” that can be used if any learner has issues with accessing YouTube.

The hope is that those that do not want to read through assignment outlines can at least view a less than 5 minute video to know the key points, expectations and due date, so they have a great chance of success than nothing at all.
