1 of my courses is an 8 week financial management course for management students just before they start placement at the end of the program. They have a solid grasp on how to navigate our LMS and the college, program and course policies are the same since semester 1. So, I used an idea from fellow classmate, Steven, and created a visual word document to highlight the parts of the course outline that students usually read since it pertains to their grades. Also, I found looking at some of the mind maps to be overwhelming with so much information, so I didn’t think that format would have a positive effect on some of my students.
