Ted Talk on Sharks that hunt in the forest
Having taught the Cornell Note taking system, I was able to organize and take the notes easily plus it was in my first language. I was constantly thinking of the skills that go into doing an activity like this for ex. the listening aspects, note taking abilities with abbreviations and symbols which we ask them to display. I had to stop the Ted Talk numerous time and again if this isn’t your first language, it poses some real challenges with spelling, organization as well as ideas like major / minor details. I have thought how I’ll introduce and model this differently in the future for sure! Very interesting!
