Although I have learnt about motivating students before, the acronym WIIFM, which means ‘what is it for me?’, was new to me.  Learning is indeed a continuous process! I was glad to encounter new ways of engaging students and keeping them attentive. I have posted an attachment describing a WIIFM from a learner’s perspective and five strategies I can use to motivate learners in my discipline.
