Julian Treasure gives a Ted Talk about why people do not listen to you and how you can improve this situation. He offers a Utopia where we avoid the seven deadly sins of speaking and engage in using our voice toolbox to speak more powerfully and sue the four cornerstones of speaking so people will listen.  We speak conscientiously  to people who listen conscientiously in environments conscientiously designed for speaking.
