CRAAP Test
I used the CRAAP test to asses an OER image that I plan to use in each weekly lecture slide of a new course I am developing. The elements of this tool are excellent for some types of resources but were less applicable for the resource I selected. I have students use the CRAAP test for another course I teach to help them assess the quality of internet resources and it has proven very useful. There are some similar tools such as SIFT, and CARS which contain very similar elements. All of these tools are very useful for students to be able to think critically about the resources they are using in preparing their assignments.
