Planning through mapping is vital for success.

After understanding the needs of the students   through empathy mapping I realized that not coming on camera or participation in teams was not the root cause of the problem . Cultural barriers , language and communication were the root causes . In addition  the cultural shock and lack of housing also played a part . This was information I gathered through one to one and group meetings on Teams and in person .

This understanding made me more flexible in accepting their joining the lecture in short sprints and the engagement through kahoot and on  chats  by asking questions helped too
