TED Talk: https://www.ted.com/talks/chloe_valdary_how_to_use_love_to_repair_social_inequality#t-1060965 This technique would definitely help me recall the main points of this TED Talk.  I prefer underlined topic headings for my key points, but used colour to key them to the content of the lecture.

I loved watching this and I cannot wait to show this to my students – and help them study and prepare their notes.  I really also want to show this to my kids to help them study an makes note.  I have never seen this before and it was amazing!  

For the Culture portion of a course, I think the Cornell Notes would be a very useful tool for students to organize and highlight key points. Here is a sample of what it might look like.

This was an interesting activity to complete. It was a great opportunity to focus on a lecture (Ted Talk) to learn something new, and get a glimpse of note-taking from the learner perspective. I definitely look forward to implementing this in a course.
